  • Condition: This Penzel Mueller "Artist" wood clarinet is in fair overall condition for it's age and will need an overhaul and restoration. The mouthpiece is chipped and there is one minor hairline crack to the wood in one piece which has been clearly shown in the third photo provided. This should prove to be a fairly easy restoration project and some of the pads may need to be replaced.

    Description

    This is a genuine wood 1920's Penzel Mueller "Artist" "B" clarinet in fair overall condition for it's age in need of an overhaul and/or tune up. This clarinet has a chipped mouthpiece that will need to be replaced with a new mouthpiece for use. There is a minor hairline crack only to one of the parts only as has been clearly shown in the third photo provided. This should prove to be a fairly easy restoration project, however, I am not an expert in this area so I will leave this project for the buyer of this clarinet to perform. This clarinet may also have some pads that need to be replaced and/or missing. There may be other areas of restoration required on this clarinet that I do not know about since I am no expert on restoring older woodwind instruments.
